I think there may be intentionality involved. I used to be dismissive of reincarnation and rebirth, believing that dead is dead, end of story, bye-bye! Now I’m open to it.
A religious mind is not concerned with accumulation - ie. is not driven by greed aka self-interest - but rather in awe at the amazingly precious miracle in which it finds itself. Care or love arise out of care and love.

Krishnamurti thought it best to describe the religious mind negatively, in terms of what it is not because the conditioned brain can’t possibly know what the religious mind is.
