Mostly people think their lives are where they are working to do things, and this is the day to day understanding. But we are questioning all that. I, self, is not separate. It is all one. The fragmentation is in the mind. So we are speaking psychologically.
No. There is no attainment because there is no attainer, and nothing is permanent.
Hello, Iāve just made my account. I was searching for the age of the girl when she wrote the book, In the Shadow of Krishnamurti, but then what came to mind now is ānot when she wrote itā that matters. Not at all of course!
Obviously, the girl didnāt have loving parents, because of that perhaps, K, feeling very sorry for her situation, treated her very well with extra kindnessā¦ triggering her mind to setup a desire in her psychology to have that nice man to be her real fatherā¦ But since it couldnāt run that way, she dreamt herself as Kās lover and K had treated her as one, and projected the picture, and wrote the book later, using her mother instead of herselfā¦ etcā¦ Does this make sense?
I am very sorry to bring up this old wound, but I cannot leave K attired with this matter, and accepted as a weakness-drenched dualistic man. Of course K could have had his kind of weaknesses because he is a human being at all, not Godā¦ wellā¦ not this way. I feel, like hearing K saying, āI would disappear, instead!āā¦
And it is a very bad influence to all of us, learners, allowing ourselves of all kinds of inaddequaciesā¦ etcā¦ as well.
What would you say Sirs?
That is very thoughtful of you Sylvia!
Thank you Sir.
For some reason, I am a clumsy person in any possible way, so Iād rather keep myself quiet. However when I see something terribly wrong, I do all I can to fix it, as it comes to me, until I see the end of it. If I canāt do anything about it, I look for others who can do something about it, collecting as much information as possible.
This morning again, in doing so, I read about the mother terribly assaulted K, physically The mother.and daughter both had tried hurt K, for the same reason that is they both didnāt have enough of K!..
Trust me on this SIr. As an ignorant clumgy woman myself, I understand what is in the mind of ignorant, selfish soul that has never had a proper portion, as an individualā¦ I know what I am trying to say, but itās difficult to explain.
Hi Sylvia,
Have you read any of the book called Lives In The Shadows? I found it to be well written and quite fairly balanced.
No, Sir. I have not read the book.
Could you kindly help me to have a glance of her story?
This side of K was introduced to me a few years ago by one of my aquainteces who I have advocated Kās videos. He said, āDo you know his dark side?ā And sent me a link. After checking the link, I responded, āIt is a made up story developed by the Rajagopal family after losing the court case, even using their daughter, as people usually do, taking advantage of a child who otherwise understands nothing what ātheirā adults do, for what reason, other than moneyā, and I dismissed, forgot about it until now or a few weeks ago when I started re-encountering disturbing videos and matters, like this one. With some betterment in my language skillsā¦
I have been in Kās teachings for over three decades, In the second decade, usually through the Daily Quites, and in the third, through the videos, Through the first decade, on his book, Beyond Violence. As far as I am concerned, it is simply discerning what is right or wrong.
So, please, help me to learn what is really going on here, although my mind is clear as fire that it is a madeup story of an old woman, out of memories, diary, dreams. And there are countless books that are well written and well loved. Some are documentaries, some are fictions, some are about reality, some are about actuality, etcā¦
Here is an interview with the author of the book:
Quite!
I had a similar experience years agoā¦ In the late 1990s I was a resident student in a Buddhist monastery in Switzerland, so I made friends with the man in charge of the bookshop. One day I was there looking at the new books when he said to me with irony, since he knew that I had read/listened to Kās teachings: āDo you know that there is a new book on the dark side of Krishnamurti?ā My spontaneous answer was: āI donāt care about the person, neither him nor her. My only concern is the teaching and to find out for myself the truth or falsity of it, not caring at all about what he may or may not have doneā.
So to this day I have never had the need to read a word of that book. A book that, to me, was written for people who have nothing better to do than entertain themselves with the lives of others, since it is clear that their own lives do not interest them at all (many of them, by the way, avowed readers of K).
I am not quite sure how to respond to this. What Ms. Sloss said on the interview appears to me total lies, as I explained earlier. And it is for people who look into such for intertainment, as you say.
I looked into the Beezone Library, Adi Da, Adidam and Tricycle:
The library was built by Ed Reither in 1998 and has been run by himself, to advocate the teachings of Adi Da.
Adidam is a new religion or āsmall religious movementā started by Adi Da, based on Hinduism. However, this religion, as it appears to me, someone has been brewing some strange soup and dumped the teachings or important quotes of many, perhaps, famous gurus, including Einstein and K!
Tricycle is new age Buddhist magazine, and the interviewer Ms. Tworkov was the founding member and editor. At least, this magazine is somewhat against Kās teachings, perhaps, about what K said of Buddhismā¦
Soā¦ while time is dreadfully urgent, as K said, Kās followers are still, living, actually, in the shadow of K, because none of them has cut through him and gotten out of the stream. Everlastingly?
Since youāve made up your mind about Ms. Sloss, and you can reasonably assume that no one here agrees with you, what brings you here?
āSince youāve made up your mind about Ms. Sloss, and you can reasonably assume that no one here agrees with you, what brings you here?ā
I am not sure Sir. I donāt think I made up my mind to depict a girl or a woman as an abnoxious lier, but I see the truth in which I think, I think, that is somewhat fallen into a fallacy from faulty use of the situation that no one can provide a proof, to say against. Even the interviewer asked her about it. And her response was, āI am an eyewitness.ā Does her answer count, against the reasoning I explaned earlier from the possible psychology of a young girl added? Especially after losing the court case? And why hadnāt this 25-year of romantic story brought up into the legal affair? Even including abortions? They could have won the case for the long relationships between Rosalind and K. Doesnāt Rosalind have the rights to open up and claim some part of what K had, if it was true story? And why didnāt she donate the letters to library, for the researchers, or provided to the court, as evidence?
Also, why would I assume that there is nobody here who has some doubts against the logic of the situation? Even the interview revealed or pointed out many doubtsā¦
There, she even said, āHe didnāt like lables, so he refused to apply one to himselfā as āteacherā or whatever. Is that truth of K? Didnāt like lablesā¦?
I donāt know. Why donāt you read the interview again, carefully, to spot lies, if itās important to you, too? I am very serious to see this cleared out. I think it is very important matter.
By the way, I am grateful that I had a chance to aquaint her story.
Thank you Sir,
Krishnamurti encouraged people, anybody, to write about what it was like to live with him, so I guess that woman Sloss didnāt do anything that Krishnamurti could complain about. Having said that, itās sad that that woman having known him for so many years chose to write only after he had died. Also she chose to write actually not only about his very private life, but also what he did in bed, and that is rather bizarre. I never read that womanās book because Iām not interested in peopleās private life, but Krishnamurtiās words are a beacon in my life which implies being concerned about the schools and centres and the community in general. So you come across people now and then that bring up Rosalindās issue to talk about. They like gossiping, thatās all, I think. Even a guy who lived for some years with Krishnamurti under the same roof as Rosalind and her daughter did was interviewed for the book by Evelyne Blau and he said he wasnāt aware of anything underground going on between K and Rosalind.
