in human communication
there is no such thing as contradiction we are failing to communicate
not because of contradiction or conditioning
or because of any other reason
it is simply that we are failing to communicate
and the reasons for it take us away from the fact
the perception of which is the first and last step
when truly we don’t understand anything
are we not then both in a completely
different place where there are
neither masters nor disciples?
this is the whole point of thinking together: our own understanding prevents it
it is much more fun just to jump in and do it
without understanding a single thing
leaving everything else behind
and skinny dipping
The reason why we “fail to communicate” is thought setting itself up as an authority, thinking “we fail to communicate”, always looking at the other and never at oneself. Remove that barrier within ourselves and there will be no problem at all in communicating.
If you have truly realized that “there are neither masters nor disciples” and these are not mere words uttered by the intellectual knowledge of thought, why do your words give the impression that you are constantly placing yourself above others as would anyone who considers him/herself to be an authority?
Sure, but I think you’ll agree with me that it would be a thousand times better to jump in together without either of us telling the other “let me teach you how to jump first, otherwise you might land wrong,” don’t you think?
Let’s not even talk about failing to communicate, or the feelings of others preventing us from thinking together, or about others giving importance to someone else, or other people’s issues, or prejudices and opinions, or judging others, or failures and successes, or other people’s losses, or free advice of any kind… and let’s jump together, keeping silent for a while as we silently enter together the depths of life.
Enlightenment is perceiving actuality for the first and last time because, at last, it is the end of the brain’s conditioned response to actuality. At last, the brain is not reacting to awareness, having no choice in the matter.
In the walking allegory we can take the “last” step over and over again - we never stop walking, because we never get to the final destination.
Or we get to the final destination, but that destination then moves on with what is, so the final step can be taken again - the step and the destination are contextual.
