I’m saying that the child is not taught how to think but what to think and what to say, which means obeying authority rather than discovering things for oneself.

I don’t know about “totally disabled” but most very young children are more inclined to believe and trust than to question.

I’m not “absolutely sure” about anything. The only thing I know for sure is that I can be mistaken.

We know it but we don’t really know anything until there’s silence: no thought reminding us of what we think we know.
