Is love an emotion? Is compassion a feeling?

Consciousness, myself, other, we, and what is really understood by the use of we in the context of that consciousness.

So what is your question?

I’m looking at thinking theoretically as I’m doing it.

Thought will imply you are in control, and it is up to you to reflect on this. K spoke and wrote about all this for many, many, years, and yet it means nothing to you.

Questions are not what matter. Leaving you to yourself now.

Maybe someone else will join in.

No need to get personal.

Your verbal shorthands craft long, tortuous trails for the poor reader to follow.

Exactly. It is not my, your, his or her truth. In fact the persona, I, self, ego, is a falsehood.

You believe it’s real, though, since you addressed me directly.

I am talking with you, a human being. The falsehood is the content, all the cultural heritage, the conditioning, the way of thinking, the reactionary thinking, and at the core is the self center. Words are used to point to things. That’s all. Belief is this process of making assumptions, based on the way the brain works with knowledge and with a self center. That’s what we are all being asked to look at. Not keep jumping to conclusions.
