Duplicity

The conditioned brain is mindlessly duplicitous until, seeing itself for what it has been, is free to use duplicity or not, as the situation may require.

For the conditioned brain, all human brains are duplicitous because duplicity is all they know. So when a brain does seem to have awakened from duplicity to oneness, that one is taken seriously by those who are uncertain, and scoffed at by those who are confident.

The conditioned brain plays a confidence game. Play it effectively and you’re successful. Play it adequately and you may escape poverty or incarceration. Play it poorly and you’re disabled or despised. Play it rarely and see what happens
