There is no ‘me’ apart from what the conventions of thought have brought about. There is a personal chronological history; but there is no psychological history. There would only be such a history if there was psychological evolution, a journey from confusion to clarity; and there is no such thing. There is only the awareness of what we are now without any reliance on either the past or the future. What we are now - not what I am now - because there is no me separate from relationship.

One day, about twenty years ago, I joined one of these dialogue forums. About a year later I started to attend regular dialogue retreats at Brockwood Park. I wouldn’t carry on doing any of this if I didn’t feel it was the most important thing in life to do.
