Thinking things through

This is saying the not-seeing is due to something, some idea, some concept. So we keep with this concept and don’t see.

Call it belief, conviction, certainty, insecurity, fear, etc., and attribute this “something” to the conditioning effect of experience and the influence of authority. Call it by whatever word you choose, but watch it and understand why it persists, if you can.

It persists because the brain names, labels it. We think it is our ability, but basically it is a mechanism in a field of thought.

No Sir. It is not it. Looking at things, at its, is the mechanism of the brain. Thinking there is something to see in all of this is a fragmented thinking. An alert, careful mind, is not watching all these conceptual matters about what it can be seeing, or be trying to make its seeing better, and all that.
